Job description
As a Product Engineer (Backend) at Zero One Group, you’ll build reliable and scalable backend systems that power our products. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to turn business needs into impactful technical solutions, while continuously improving system performance, reliability, and developer experience
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Go (Golang), Node.js, or Python and experience building scalable backend services.
- Strong understanding of REST API, SQL, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience with Fastify/Express.js or FastAPI/Django.
- Solid knowledge of Git, Redis, and Docker.
- Experience with SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into backend applications.
- Strong understanding of concurrency and distributed systems.
- Experience with microservices, gRPC, and message brokers such as Kafka/RabbitMQ.
- Experience building ML/AI pipelines, with exposure to LangChain and Vector Databases is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a productoriented mindset, with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Docker, FastAPI/Gin, Postman/Bruno.
- Experience with gRPC, Celery/Async Workers, and Vector DBs (pgvector/Pinecone).
- Understanding of CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Distributed Systems.
- Familiarity with Observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog).
- Knowledge of Data Mesh architecture.
Nice to have
