Designing visual communications that bring global environmental issues and initiatives to life
Bloomberg Philanthropies is the charitable organization founded by Michael R. Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City and founder of Bloomberg L.P. The foundation is dedicated to improving lives and driving lasting change through data-driven, results-oriented philanthropy. One of the foundation's primary focus areas is the environment, with a comprehensive global program that supports climate initiatives aimed at addressing climate change, reducing pollution, protecting oceans, and accelerating the clean energy transition.
The Environment program at Bloomberg Philanthropies oversees a diverse portfolio of climate communication initiatives, each requiring a broad range of design support. Creative needs span from narrative-driven animated explainers and videos to data visualizations for social media, major reports and publications, event materials, presentation design, and project-based microsites.
We are one of the leading agencies in Indonesia providing comprehensive design and creative services for Bloomberg Philanthropies' climate communication initiatives. Collaborating closely with the foundation’s communications team, along with various partners and stakeholders, we design and develop creative content that effectively captures the core messages of each campaign while positively representing Bloomberg Philanthropies and its collaborators.
The Climate Innovation Fund, a collaboration involving Bloomberg Philanthropies, Goldman Sachs, and the Asian Development Bank, is launching a project to transition from diesel to electric buses. As part of their announcement, we prepared a fully animated video, which we storyboarded and scripted from the beginning with client leads from the various stakeholders.
Some of our notable projects include: animated explainer for the Jakarta Clean Air Partnership, branding development for the Beyond Oil & Gas Alliance, decks presented during COP27 and COP28, summary videos for the 2022 SEForAll Forum in Kigali, video presented at COP26 by the Powering Past Coal Alliance, animated explainer for the Brussels Clean Air Partnership, branding and design consultancy for Breathe Cities.
We continue to provide creative design support for Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Environment program and have collaborated over the years with a range of key partners, including: Global Energy Monitor, Powering Past Coal Alliance, Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero, Bloomberg L.P., Sustainable Energy for All, C40, Clean Air Fund, Rocky Mountain Institute, and Vital Strategies. Our work has been featured in climate initiatives around the world, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, Belgium, Rwanda, and many other countries.
